Planning of a new refrigerated logistics warehouse with integrated heat pump function and NH3 refrigerant

The planning and implementation of a state-of-the-art, refrigerated logistics warehouse is a forward-looking solution that meets the special requirements for storing sensitive products.
An outstanding innovation of this project is the integration of a heat pump function into the ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration system, which enables efficient heating of the warehouse during the winter months.

Project goals

  1. Optimum cooling and heating: Ensuring stable cooling temperatures for various product categories and effective heating in winter.
  2. Efficiency: Maximization of energy efficiency through the use of heat pump technology and use of the environmentally friendly refrigerant NH3 with a low ammonia charge (less than 3t).
  3. Sustainability: Reduction of environmental impact through sustainable construction and operating methods.

Efficiency: Maximizing energy efficiency through the use of heat pump technology.
